Before the Beginning

Confusion

“Tohu VaBohu” is a biblical phrase (Genesis 1:2) describing the condition of the world before Gd said, “Let there be light.” In modern French, “tohu-bohu” is used as an idiom for “confusion” or “commotion”. Also, in colloquial German, ‘Tohuwabohu” means “great confusion”. This piece represents the beginning stages of creation with letters of the Alef Bet (Hebrew Alphabet) from which brilliant prisms of color exploded as the Master artist created the world.

Male Energy

Men are known to be far different than women in how they compartmentalize, a waffle-like method of processing in which they multitask in separate boxes; a far different system than women whose emotions flow intertwined as the varied facets of their picture intermingle.
